PORTFOLIO
In this project, the owner desired a large garage matched to a small home. The solution to this requirement is in the orientation of the buildings (home and garage) on the site. The negative impact of a larger garage in proportion to the house is mitigated by working with the site and positioning the garage on angle. Refer to the website on “Not So Big House” for more details on the concept of a small home.
Interiors and Kitchens
Interior sketches help the client visualize how the spaces will feel.
Kitchen areas, as well as other work areas, are planned by the architect during the design process.
“Ranch” Renovation for Accessibility
Renovating and updating an existing ranch house can increase accessibility and make the home function for 21st century living.
“Ranch” House Addition
Above is a substantial addition and renovation to a small home where the client desired additional living space. The proposal reused the existing structure, added a garage, increased the size and number of bedrooms, baths, living and dining areas. Also, a new kitchen was designed.
New “Traditional” Home

Here, as an adaptation of a traditional style, the entire interior is custom-designed and oriented to fit the site, particular client’s needs, and budget.
New Home with Accessibility Features

The entry, interior layout, and living area elements were changed in the planning stage to provide accessibility for a traditional design home.
